Cardbord of the Rings recently talked about their picks for most underated cards and didn't bring up Ring of Barahir! The most impoved card of this cycle! With all the new artifact attachments coming this cycle this card becomes a powerhouse, sometimes equating to a Citadel Plate or better for only one resource! This deck was made to capitalize on it by loading up Aragorn with every attachment ever and let him go to town. This is my current deck of choice and I highly recomend trying it out or at least trying out Ring of Barahir because it is simply pure gold!

Important note: I do not claim to be a necessarily strong deckbuilder, nor do I claim this is a perfectly optimized deck. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this list please let me know as it will be greatly appreciated!

Just curious why you chose lore Aragorn, when Ring of Barahir with give him a lore icon once attached? Not sure how it would affect the overall balance of your deck, but with tactics Aragorn, Ring of Barahir, and Sword that was Broken all in play you could have Aragorn loaded with three resource icons. Just something to consider.

It also looks like you have quite a few spirit cards included here. Are you relying on A Good Harvest and Galadriel to get these into play?

And finally, We Are Not Idle is in effect a dead card in this deck, as you lack a dwarf hero to help activate it.

Just a few things I noticed. I always like decks built around underused cards, so I hope it helps!

@DarkPaladin13 We Are Not Idle is effectively a free card slot seeing as it cost nothing and draws a card, replacing itself and thinning the deck, however I could see how it lacks overall utility. I would probably take it out for Desperate Alliance, especially in multiplayer to pass around Aragorn's threat reduction ability. I chose lore Aragorn simply because I like Boromir way more than I should and even with errata he still is a real strain on threat.

I agree that ring of barahir has become very powerful of late. Not only or even not primarily on Aragorn. Any hero can benefits of it especially if theey already have their own artefact attachemts. Galadriel on this regard is a very good target. With her ring and mirror plus barahir she is 7 hit point meaning able to take undefeated attack. Any hero who synergize with artifact attachment is a good target. You can see it as a 1 cost for 2-4 hit point avg boost with no restriction. Put that way one of the most efficient card in the game for hero health boost.
