The deck I used to solo the Siege of Cair Andros with one core set. The basic idea is to mulligan for Winged Guardian. Between that and Beregond you should have enough defense to clear out the locations quickly. Legolas will help out with the questing when defeating enemies.

Cards to remove

Spear of the Citadel didn't really do anything. The problem is it's expensive and usually I was using chump blockers. The ideal target is Beregond but he was usually busy questing.

Khazâd! Khazâd! did nothing since I didn't have enough dwarf allies.

Watcher of the Bruinen was there as a chump blocker. It worked well but I wish there was a better one.

So after spending many attempts at beating this quest over the weekend I switched to your monosphere deck and finally managed to crack this ridiculously hard nut! I finally managed to get all 3 locations explored and that was key. Thanks for the deck and the advice too!

I just beat this quest with the exact same hero lineup. I'll agree Spear of the Citadel wasn't much use to me either. I found the Watcher of the Bruinen a good value seige quester to clear out the 3 locations before moving on from the 1 stage. My deck wasn't strictly progression-compliant as I used cards from the rest of the cycle. Notably, Gondorian Shield was helpful for pumping up Beregond and the Defender of Rammas.
