The Morgul Vale was a difficult scenario when it came out, and even if it's nowadays easier to beat it can still prove a challenge.

This deck was build specifically to counter The Morgul Vale. It's meant to win quickly, without even bothering to ramp up the questing ability. Threatening out is a distinct possibility if the game starts to bog down.

A starting threat of 28 (once Éowyn's reduction is applied) gives two turn at the start of the game before the first Captain enemy engages. Questing strongly to clear out a location - and ideally to score a Keep Watch is a priority. I usually used Éowyn's once per game ability on Lord Alcaron, as it is useless against the the Nazgûl. And against this final boss, the deck provides many ways to ping him small amount of damage to dispatch him in no more than two rounds. Ah, the good old days when boss monsters didn't all come with "immune to player cards effect"...

Next, I'll see if the deck still holds up against the nightmare version of the quest!
