Grimbeorn the Old is a card I hate. In my personal opinion he is just worse Boromir who doesn't ready and is just as greedy. However the old man has something that Boromir will never have, some wicked pecks! This has convinced me to try him out in the deck you can see here.
The main goal is to load up the old man with the Steward of Gondor, Gondorian Fire, Dúnedain Warnings, and Gondorian Shield. With all this junk he should be able to kill anything that attacks him using his ability. Untill then Gimli can help with action advantage and questing and Aragorn makes it so you don't have to worry about threat. For questing set up the Sword that was Broken and use your chumps to quest. Some of the stranger cards that might not appear to have immediate use are We Are Not Idle for getting the second resource on turn 1 to play steward, and for cycling later in the game, and Hold Your Ground! for emergency readying and big action advantage late game.
Besides that it's pretty self explanatory, mulligan hard for Steward of Gondor and should be all good brudda.
Good luck, we are all counting on you
