Here is a fairly straight forward Hobbit and Ent deck.

Starting threat is a 16, which should keep you in secrecy for a good while and help you avoid enemies early on. The only card that requires secrecy is Resourceful, but it is an important one. It is the card to muligan for, otherwise Peace, and Thought is another nice card to see.

For Ents, when in hand, get Treebeard out as soon as possible. This will help with some resource smoothing and will be a key defender at the beginning of the game. Another good early defender is Quickbeam in that he can be readied immediately if needed. Since there are three in deck, don’t be shy with letting him chump block.

When stacking attachments on the hobbits, focus on piling them up on Pippin and Merry. This should make it easier for you to discard Folco Boffin if you need the threat reduction.

Both Dagger of Westernesse should go on Merry, making him a 7, 8 if Friend of Friends is out.

You will have several choice targets for Ent Draught. Merry and Pippin are good choices since they have only 2 to start with. My favorite target is Warden of Healing, making him a bit more durable.

For the 3 Resourcefuls, start with putting on Merry to give an additional resource per turn. The second one should go on Pippin.

The deck really lives or dies with the ability to pay to get the ents out, so doing everything you can to get multiple Resourcefuls out with Treebeard is a priority. This is why a good chunk of the deck is focused on card draw. Between Entmoot, Peace, and Thought, Daeron's Runes and Pippins ability, you should end up with a load of cards in your hand, increasing your chance to draw and play Resourceful. Once the initial pieces are in play, the deck does a decent job of pumping out Ents.

During the game, managing damage dealt amongst the characters become key. If possible, maintaining one damage on a number of ents is generally ideal. The main reason is bump up the of Booming Ent or allowed to be readied by The Dam Bursts. The Warden of Healing and Wellinghall Preserver should help keep damage under control.

I think this deck should pair well with a Rohan staging area attack deck due to Pippin 3 enemy engagement cost increase. Otherwise, a deck that could focus more on questing/location control with some event cancelation would be a good pairing.
