Discard Pile

Roka 1584

Since I saw the new Dáin Ironfoot, I wanted to build a deck that takes advantage from getting cards in the discard pile. So i decided to combine with Háma who can recycle tactics event I discard. Éowyn is the third hero we want for early willpower and to cycle Elven-light.

The main event we really want to recycle is Foe-hammer. We try to mulligan for a weapon (Warrior Sword is another card from Framsburg that helps this deck) or Open the Armory. Than we want to engage an early enemy to start putting cards in the discard pile. In the beginning it's pretty much always good to discard as much as possible until we find Foe-hammer and Elven-light. Once they hit the discard pile we can start using them to draw more cards

That way there will be quickly a bunch of cards in our hand, so we often don't need to cycle Foe-Hammer additional times. That way we can use Feint and the last new card in this deck, Swift and Strong multiple times or if we discarded them.

The rest of the deck is pretty standard, the usual questing allies, Unexpected Courage and Defender of Rammas for extra defense and the cancellation Events.

I'd consider something like adding Riddermark Knight, and swapping the Dagger of Westernesse for a Spear of the Mark. That will help you avoid your weapons becoming dead-draws.

@Goggen I considered Riddermark Knight but it already sometimes find myself lacking tactics ressources and don't know what to drop. Maybe you can replace the Honour Guards in quets with few direct damage effects. Anyway between Éowyn and the discard for Foe-hammer you can often get rid of a weapon instead of a valuable card.
