Updated version. To celebrate that I have completed my collection I am going to try to take this trio of heroes through the Dreamchaser cycle. Your suggestions for improvements are very welcome!

Aug 15, 2019Looks awesome! Let us know how it goes! It's to bad you can't attach Fall of Gil-Galad to Beorn or that would be a great threat reduction option. I did that too Treebeard in my Elrond/Gandalf/Treebeard line up and it was a great threat reset when needed. |

Aug 24, 2019This looks like a really neat deck! One thing: what is the purpose of Messenger Raven in this deck? I know its playable, but it seems sort of out of place, especially if you're including only one copy of it and Wizard Pipe. |
Aug 24, 2019Thanks :-) I actually ended up not being too happy with it. The threat is just too high. Remember that Bilbo gets the pipe, so with 2 Bilbo and 1 pipe it's kinda like running 3 copies. The Messenger Raven is just generally nice with Radagast (even without the pipe). It's a creature, so returning it to your hand (and maybe getting a card) lets you play it again and Radagast then doesn't exhaust to quest. But it's not essential so I only included one. |
Aug 24, 2019Thanks for clearing that up...it does make sense. |
I really like this deck. The starting threat level is high, so I like the inclusion of various threat reduction cards. I also like the inclusion of heroes and allies with powerful stats. Cards such as Unexpected Courage or A Burning Brand could be good additions to this deck on occasion. Maybe consider adding them to the sideboard just in case. Neat deck!
