The dwarves delved too greedily and too deep. But that was the time when CEO of this company was Gandalf. New times are ahead and we invite a new CEO to be the brains of this company - a wise elf Gildor who at least remembers which way to go. Good thing we don't need to change the company name... This is the foundation of the re-branded company. What ever mining troubles we face please share it with all and ideas of improvement.
So Gildor plans where to mine and Dáins dwarves just mine. Mulligan for Zigil Miner. Use Gildor to swap the cards with discard effects with the cards you want to your hand from the top of your deck. Early readying should go to Gildor so you can use his ability again or commit to quest.
With Well-Equipped you can attach Guarded cards to your fellow dwarves without the guarding effect. It is nice to have this get Ring of Thrór early in the game to put all the other attachments in play.
I wanted to have a bit of attack power as well so I included Knight of Belfalas and Dwarrowdelf Axe to cover that part. Nice about knights is that even if you discard them with your miners you can get them back with their counterparts. Ioreth can also be fetched out of the discard pile like this and get some healing.
For shadow cancellation I use The One Ring and Inner Strength on Dáin. Ancestral Armor are there for money making and possible Well-Equipped or Ring of Thrór target.
Companys summer employees for condition heavy quests are Miner of the Iron Hills and for mining maniac people Ered Nimrais Prospector. For multiplayer might want to swap in Armor of Erebor or Arwen Undómiel and incase someone else brings The One Ring there is possible swap for Hasty Stroke.
Please share your thoughts on this idea of Gildor being the mastermind of this mine.

Mar 28, 2020Cool deck, unfortunately it has been ruled that you cannot bypass the Guarded keyword like this. The only way it can be bypassed is when a card specifically calls out to ignore the guarded keyword such as on The Burglars Turn contract. |

interesting deck, but why the knights? they are o.k. with attack of 2 but have less use otherwise. i would prefer the rhovanion outrider, yes cost 1 more, but have more use (this deck has nothig against locations). they attack for the same, and quest usally 1 more and helps discarding locations. with good mining you can afford the 1 cost more ;)
