With the new Trap card Entangling Nets and the new card Arrows from the Trees which have been released with The Temple of The Deceived, I decided that it was time to include these cards in a solid / trap deck that will pin enemies in the staging area and kill them there with Faramir and a Great Yew Bow.

To get some more defence on the table, Beregond has been included for some solid defence with two Gondorian Shields to quite possibly defend against some big enemies that have come down from the staging area. You are able to ready Beregond with Behind Strong Walls if you have to defend against another enemy. To get the bows on to the table, I made use of the recent Master Ironsmith to make Great Yew Bow and Ranger Bow free to be put onto any hero.

The traps can be made cheaper with Master of Lore and then Damrod to lower the cost of most traps to 0, make sure you first trigger Master of Lore since he can lower the cost to a minimum of 1, whilst Damrod can lower to 0.

Although you can't make use of Advance Warning since not all heroes have a icon, the enemies are able to come down to you if your threat is high enough. Otherwise, save some resources to play Arrows from the Trees for it's full attack after Faramir has shot into the staging area with Hands Upon the Bow, he should deal a good amount of damage to a single enemy which you can kill afterwards with the direct damage from Arrows from the Trees or Ranger Bow.

Henamarth Riversong is included for triggering Wingfoot and Expecting Mischief. If anyone else is using him, add Rumour from the Earth (which is a very underappreciated card in my honest opinion) to scry the top of the encounter deck.

Secret Vigil is the closest thing that you can come to a trap in the sphere, I included it for the theme and the benefit of threat reduction so that enemies will stay in the staging area.

Alternatively to this Hero Line-up, You could replace Faramir and Beregond with Bard the Bowman and Denethor to switch the Ranged and Defending role between the two spheres, it will allow you to start at a lower threat, but restricts defending with no Sentinel defender. The Gondorian Shield are again free if you first play a Master Ironsmith.

Love the general concept, but it should be pointed out that Master Ironsmith can only do his Weapon-attaching thing to Beregond in this deck, due to the fact that only Beregond can pay for him.
