The basis of this deck is to swarm Ent allies which can then handle questing, attacking, and defending to make up for weaker heroes. Merry and Pippin provide low threat with access to the two spheres that the Ents come in. Merry+Booming Ent can be a great combo to wipe out multiple enemies. Pippin provides valuable card draw. Faramir readies whatever Ent you need most for combat and provides access to Steward of Gondor which can go on either Merry or Pippin depending on whether you have more Tactics or Lore ents in hand. Fast Hitch and Dagger of Westernesse go on Merry to further boost the combat capabilities of the Ents. Elf-stone is a nice way to sneak costly Ents into play. Gimli is a solid ally which can use up Faramir's resources. Faramir should also be the one to pay for Neutral cards if possible due to the low number of Leadership cards in the deck. Legolas and Boromir can help greatly in the early game to make up for the slow setup of the Ents as well as late game to provide solid attackers, multiple defenses from Boromir, and valuable card draw with Legolas which can be readied by Merry if you really need more cards.
