I'm a solo player typically, but when I do play with others (namely my fiancee sporting silvans), it usually falls upon me to pick up the damage. After picking up a generous selection of cards I should have owned a long time ago, I threw together a deck centered around Bard and his interesting text. Costs are kept low outside of Gandalf and a few one-ofs. My goal is to kill anything on the other side of the board with armor-reducing range, leaving Mablung to burn my engagements with Gondorian Fire. Beregond will be a blocking machine, utilizing a host of cheap events and recursion to keep damage low.

The big problem I see now is getting Elf-friend on Bard the Bowman. I typically hate having to rely on keyword-granting cards, and even now I'm considering a swap from Bard to Legolas, but my interest in dropping armor (and my tragic lack of Rivendell Blade) compels me to make the most of my situation. Card draw is scant, but I know that the Silvans on the other side of the table can help me, and there isn't much for tactics to do about that in any case.

I'm not reinventing the wheel by any stretch of the imagination here, but I still welcome comments, thoughts, and so forth. $
