This is a slight twist on the classic Gondorian army archetype. Seeking to bolster the strength of these triat based characters with Boromir and Visionary Leadership. The rightful Steward of Gondor, Denethor will enable optimal plays through his resource smoothing ability. He can even lend a hand to Eleanor from deck 2. This deck also incorporates some of the trap synergy also relevant to the trait. However, the emphasis is certainly on the allies, which should come together quickly and efficiently.

There's a good amount of key attachments in this deck. As such a fair amount of card draw is included. Master of the Forge is always fantastic in a deck like this, but the new Heed the Dream is also key. The latter, and Deep Knowledge, can also help Deck 2 reach its key cards. Finally Rod of the Steward provides some back up draw. Perhaps for the late game if your hand turns stale.

Between the traps, Ithilien Trackers, and Mablung there are a number of ways to interact with the staging area. The combination of the might of Gondor's army, and these various tricks, can really help take the sting out of enemies.

Many of the sideboard cards, such as the Explorer's Almanac help deal with locations. There's also some extras that work very well in the deck, but we're cut from the main deck due to size.

All said, this is a very fun deck to play. It never plays quite the same way twice, but the core of it is consistent enough to be efficient.
