This deck is a companion deck to a deck with the Lore Ents, featuring Treebeard and Faramir as critical heroes. Gondorian Shield will go on Faramir first to turn him into a 4 defender, while Boomed and Trumpeted is primarily intended to ready a self-damaging Treebeard for a massive attack. The other deck provides almost all the questing oomph and will optionally engage enemies to take advantage of Faramir, but once the tactics ents are out and ready, this deck can also take enemies and dispose of them.

The key early cards to look for is Gondorion Shield, Light of Valinor, and any sort of weapon to be used with Foe-hammer for card draw. Arwen Undómiel, Honour Guard, Unexpected Courage and A Test of Will are all insanely useful as well, of course.

In the sideboard, Hasty Stroke is for quests where you don't want to chance waiting for a A Burning Brand to be set up in the other deck, Northern Tracker is for location heavy quests (Théodred in the other deck can supplement Glorfindel's resource every other turn to pay for it), and Skinbark should be in against any quest with orcs.
