After our Fellowship group's initial failure to get Frodo to Rivendell in Flight to the Ford, I elected to switch up my sphere distribution since I could do so with no threat penalty substituting Merry for Merry.
I removed all the Tactics cards and most of the Lore Ents, keeping only Quickbeam who could ready himself. I added a copy of Mablung for his cost:willpower ratio. I brought in Bilbo Baggins, a Hobbit Pipe for a little extra card draw, Arwen Undómiel for extra defense on Elrond (who got reassigned from using Vilya to defending), A Burning Brand to negate shadow effects, Glorfindel for some fighting ability, and Gandalf will no longer be a pinch-hitter.
Out of the Wild and Good Meal will be hopefully be used to keep the encounter deck free of burdens, recycling them with Galadhrim Weavers and Scroll of Isildur.
Deep Knowledge gets slotted into the starting rotation, but Heed the Dream can sub in if the rest of the group is unhappy with Doomed 2.
