Libro Rojo 353

Halfling Determination, Dagger of Westernesse.

Saludos.

The Hobbits are my favorite characters from Tolkien's work. In the card game they are very powerful characters, heroes low-cost threat and are perfect to build a deck in Secrecy. One option is to build a deck with Hobbits fighting enemies by taking advantage of multiple cards that have at their disposal. Halfling Determination, Dagger of Westernesse.

This deck is different, it does not focus on the capabilities of the hobbits to hide and fight, but rather in the ability to attract powerful allies without paying its cost. Thanks to Merry, you can keep your threat low for several rounds. You can play allies like Celduin Traveler or Ithilien Lookout, for few resources. Similar case with Timely Aid, Sneak Attack, Send for Aid, y Elf-stone they are just other cards that can attract the most powerful allies into play. The low cost of threat, and defensive possibilities offered by Sam Gamgee with his toys, can hold off enemies in the first rounds, Pippin also helps. Then you can play those strongest allies and balance your game.

This deck works in solo very well. But multiplayer it happens that sometimes the threat is triggered, and you can not control by yourself. On the other hand, some unique characters could be heroes of other players. That can be modified with a Sideboard

Hobbits want to throw a party in The Shire, and all races have been invited. To run Beer, and the leaves of Old Toby. That makes me think that I should build a deck with Pipes in the future. Greetings to all.

I like decks that run cards just for flavor. I will sometimes put a single inferior card into a deck I'm building because I like how it "feels" in the deck, but I don't want it to throw off the consistency. Your deck seems to double down on this idea and looks like a lot of fun. Trading consistency for outright zaniness is alright by me.
