This is great as a 3rd or 4th deck choice in multiplayer games, and is good for pick-up games where you have not had time to coordinate strategies. It can contribute to questing with some staple allies, but its greatest strength is the capability to strip the encounter deck of any surprises. All the while, it runs a suite of cards to help your neighbors' decks run more efficiently (no matter what they are trying to do).

In this game there are 2 big times you commonly face unknown cards: during questing and combat shadow cards. Eleanor and Balin serve to smooth out these areas by allowing you to choose which treacheries/shadows to let through. Lanwyn is here to take advantage of those times the encounter deck tries to hose you with surge. Honestly, you could replace her with Galadriel and her toys to further help the team with threat reduction and card draw, but I like the Dale scout for her fun factor here.

Everything else in this deck is here to either further reduce the unknowns or help out your friends' strategies. Cancel treacheries or shadows with a handful of events and allies. Share resources with Errand-rider and Envoy of Pelargir. Boost stats with Arwen Undómiel and the Dunedain Signals. Draw cards with Campfire Tales. Manage threat with Galadriel's Handmaiden and The Galadhrim's Greeting. Scry with Imladris Stargazer. Even heal heroes with the new Dúnedain Remedy.

This is the kind of deck people will be glad to see at the table.

P.S. This deck steers away from many of the conventional powerhouse cards like Steward of Gondor. This is to help avoid conflicts with fellow adventurers' decks. If no one at the table is using Steward, you can sub it in from the sideboard. If someone is using hero Arwen Undómiel or you don't like Minas Tirith Lampwright, feel free to sub in Westfold Horse-Breaker or another of your favorite allies.
