Welcome to the jungle, we got traps and bears
We got everything you need honey, to set that snare

This is a trap deck. It's also a Beorn deck. Beorn has long been a boon to players' early game pace. His ability to defend multiple enemies and then still attack for 5 while asking absolutely nothing of you is amazing. Couple that with the current trap suite (particularly Entangling Nets and Ambush), and enemies have a hard time gaining ground on you.

Honour Guards, Landroval, Entangling Nets, Horn's Cry, and Close Call all reduce the risk inherent to Beorn defending. Feint is here for the biggest of enemies (those that can be feinted, anyway).

Beyond that, it's pretty meat and potatoes. Play traps, neuter enemies, draw cards, kill stuff, and even quest for a little. This deck is primarily a multiplayer deck, as it's notably weaker in questing. But it pulls its weight quite nicely as it brings enemies to their sha-na-na-na-na knees, knees...

This is a very nice deck. Depending on the situation Dori might help too, to let him suffer damage, that would be placed on Beorn ;) Or did you leave him out for reasons?

cool deck, but your deck asks for straight shots... :) marksman of lorien, entagling nets. You thought of adding a couple of those as well?

@SkeffingtonDori is indeed a good call. I tried to keep the lore cost curve really low to keep the traps churning out, but he could go in just fine.

@serretrue, you could slot it in, but then you need to find room for enough weapons to get it working consistently. Which might get tight.

As it look easy for you to have 3 tactic ressources, i would think about Azain silverbeard as fighter that can "splash" damage around mid-end game.

but it's only for the Funny side of the force ^^

nice deck with some of my favorite heroes !

I like putting Vigilant Guard in this deck along with Master of the Forge.
