I built this to go with my Aragorn/Arwen campaign deck, though I almost always play true solo. I wanted to try Galdor to enable me to have the best chance of starting with the full suite of Gandalf's toys possible. In play, though, I find that I'm never using his ability nor does his trait matter for my deck. Perhaps I should swap him for Beravor or even Pippin for lower threat.
I'm sure this isn't the most innovative deck you've ever seen, but Gandalf + Big Allies + Narya = win. I solo'd The Havens Burn last night and had a great time!
