This is a sentinel/range/weapons combat-support deck built for a run at Murder at the Prancing Pony, based around one of the decks in the Team Covenant playthrough of the same quest.

Early priorities are getting Elrohir into some Elven Mail so that he can help sentinel for the Dunedain tank deck. There are very few leadership cards in this deck so that Elrohir can defend as often as possible - Steward of Gondor is already in use in the more expensive Dunedain deck, and whilst running Hero Arwen Undómiel was considered, it didn't end up happening. Similarly, Legolas makes it in instead of Amarthiúl for progress token reasons.

The weaponry is meant to be shoveled out all over the place, although Rohan Warhorse is probably primarily for Legolas or Aragorn in the tank deck. Early weapons will go on Legolas, at least until Elladan gets a Rivendell Bow.Keen as Lances is included for end-game threat reduction, once the Rossiel shenanigans have taken place, since it's a pretty threat-heavy quest. Campfire Tales is included because who doesn't love universal card draw?

Most of the allies are either ranged or sentinels. Watcher of the Bruinen and Trollshaw Scout were considered, but this deck won't be drawing often enough to make those options viable, even with cards like The Long Defeat and Galadriel sharing the love around a bit. Landroval is included in case anything goes terribly wrong, and would probably be the target for Sneak Attack if disaster looked likely. Having said that, there's only one of him. I could probably switch in a second instead of Gwaihir, but I really don't want to get stuck with two copies of a 5-cost eagle, knowing I can only ever play one of them.
