With the new arrived wait no longer (and with proud hunters) I believe that a mono tactic solo can be strong enough to fight most of the nightmare scenario so I build my version. It is still recent so many improvement will probably come soon.
The main strategy is to play at each turn wait no longer so you almost never reveal cards from the encounter deck. So no death by location accumulation, no terrible treachery.
You still try to get a lot of will. It is hard in the tactic sphere but it still more easy than play trained for war each turn. We play all the small ally with some will over the big blocker/attackers because we only need a few fighters.
The actual list play 1 oath of eorl instead of one thicket of spears and one +1 will equipment for a gondor hero in the new adventure pack instead of a gondorian shield.
