Thought about that lineup and saw, that nobody had this idea before...

I want to play this deck in fellowship with Spirit-Theoden, Eomer and Elfhelm, who makes Denethor with Shield and Horse to a very great defender.

Main-Concept:

  • Denethor gets his title, a Shield and the horse. For better questing, he also gets the Visionary Leadership. He gives rescources to his son- and daughter-in-law.

  • Eowyn's mainjob is of course questing. She gets In Service of the Steward to get her resources. Besides she gives access to Tactics, so we can play the Shield. In need she can use her ability to kill big enemys. Again she wears Celebrian's Stone. Maybe there is too little tactics in this decklist...

  • Faramir is attacker and quester. With the Visionary Leadership he quests with 3 and as a Heir of Mardil, Denethor can ready him anytime. With Wingfoot he could have 3 actions in one round. Furthermore he will be equiped with one or two Ranger Spears, because of his thin arms... (ha ha). With the Hand Upon the Bow and his ability he can kill small and maybe middle-class enemies before they engage us. Bigger enemies can be shot down with a Black Arrow.

  • As great fighters we have the Knights of the white Tower, which are attached with a Raiment of War.

  • Healing with Ioreth, Warden of Healing and Dunedain Remedy.

  • Carddraw with Daeron's Runes, Heed the Dream and Gleowine.

In total I would say, that this is a deck, that can quest (but not to the extreme), attack and defend. It has weakness in sentinel and ranged. There is also no threat-reduction, but when those Knights and Denethor are armed, you have no problem with enemies. Avoiding treacheries and evil shadoweffects is a job for your partner-deck. I would mulligan for the Steward and the shield. I didn't put Gandalf/Sneakattack inside, because I have all of my copies in the other deck. I also don't know which cards I would replace for them.

(Excuse my English.)
