Tubarush has a newer deck inspired by this one: Gondor tames a Mumak
The Gondor deck this is "Derived From" got me thru the Escape from Umbar quest in the Sands of Harad deluxe set. Then it hit a brick wall on Desert Crossing. I needed more questing power and more card draw and was able to get that fairly easily.
I like to beat a quest twice with a deck before I move on. This deck took 4 attempts to defeat Desert Crossing twice (Sandstorm sucks) and won the very first 2 attempts against Long Arm of Mordor (I rescued Imrahil first, then Boromir.)
