Pairing up the Noldor-Silvan power couple, Galadriel and Celeborn, this deck engages in Silvan shenanigans (allies entering and leaving play) while offering a fairly well-balanced solo experience.

On opening hand, you really want to put Nenya on Galadriel, either directly or by drawing Mirror of Galadriel. This allows quad-sphere use, particularly for The Tree People to pop allies into play (ideally, use The Tree People for allies like Haldir of Lórien for questing/attacking or Silvan Tracker for consistent healing).

The deck can be a slow starter because of its tri-sphere nature, but once you get the Silvan engine rolling, there should be few issues with questing (Celeborn gives +1 of all traits in the round allies enter, Galadriel gives entering allies questing without exhaustion, and Nenya gives +4 quest to one character).

Ideally, Legolas will be used primarily with attack with at least one Rivendell Blade, and can help with location/quest progress in destroying enemies. Defender of the Naith is a great blocker, but Celeborn comes in handy on initial rounds as well.

Do you use Defender of the Naith with Cloak of Lórien? I'm going to give this a shot, I've yet to play a Silvan deck.

Yep, Defender is a great target for the Cloak - it takes a lot of defending pressure off of everyone else and decreases the need to chump block (because you want to be popping weaker allies out to use effects like The Tree People). They are definitely fun decks to play!
