Can this deck beat Escape solo? Sort of. First, we statistically restart until 3 conditions are met: Glorfindel is captured (p = 1/3), Vilya is in our opener (p = .56), and no bad spiders are guarding objectives in setup (p = .71). In practice we stack it this way, and multiply our losses by 7.5 (the expected number of restarts needed to meet these conditions). Under these conditions, with this build, I won on my 8th try (we'll count that as 1 win and 59 losses. Not bad!), although I wouldn't be surprised if that was lucky, given my additional 307 "losses" with previous builds.
Is this a good use of your time? No. But if you simply refuse to move on with your life until you beat this quest solo, in progression style, well, here is something you might like.
