Rouxxor 1750

I decide to rebuild more thematic version of my tribal decks, based on the rules of the Free Races of Middle-earth of the Lure of Middle-Earth event: http://lureofmiddleearth.com/rules-the-free-races-of-middle-earth/

Silvan has a lot of great thematic cards but miss emblematic heroes, since the two best are Celeborn and Galadriel, except the second one isn't silvan but just the queen of one of their kingdom. Lore is really important and Haldir is still really okay. For the third hero we have choices that will not stick perfectly at the deck spirit and I think about going with Legolas, spirit of tactic. Since spirit cards seem better (I prefer counter that weapon) I go to that option but let the fight one in sideboard.

I love Silvan decks! What do you use Legolas' ability for? I don't see Elven-light here. I've considered using him for that before but I still haven't managed to make him feel worth the hero slot yet without Gimli.

If you want to use the Legolas ability you have to put a light of valinor on him, and discard a card to ready another hero. It is like a Éowyn where only you can use his ability, and only before resolving the quest. I rather put light of valinor in Celeborn or haldir (I see if I need more Haldir in quest of Celeborn in fight). So his ability have absolutely no use. That is why I can easily replace him with Legolas if I seem I need more fight than counter. There is not billions of silvan heroes, thematic make me choose him over Galadriel and I don't play Legolas without Gimli anywhere else.

The combination Captain's wisdom and Greenwood archer or Legolas ability gave me the will of testing them, but I find it really hard to find places in this deck. I'm thinking about doing: -1 hasty stroke -1 galadhrim weaver -1 Naith Guide

If you have a point of view about that I would be glad to hear it :).
