dkayringsdb has a newer deck inspired by this one: Dunedain reborn

Hey guys, This deck is the long term effort of mine to see just how far you can take the dunedain mechanic.

It is meant to be played as a combat deck, because it will normally not have any questing in early rounds. It will cover combat for 2 or 3 people total, with a good amount of sentinel.

Some pointers: mulligan for ways to defend better (A Burning Brand, Armored Destrier are my favorite). Quest berevor round 1, and then use her for card draw at the beginning of every turn after that. This will take getting used to if you (like me) used to play as 'who else needs card draw' or 'we really need her for questing'. The faster this deck gets to your hand, the better off everyone will be. start as first player, and try and take 2 enemies round one for Amarthiúl's passive. Heir of Valandil and Armored Destrier feel good to get out in one turn of saving.

I will commonly end the game with 8 enemies engaged, never letting them have any shadow cards, and questing 15 because of Sword that was Broken. Don't be afraid to let them sit in front of you even if you could kill them; at least until you have 5, maybe after that you can kill 1 if you feel like it.

enjoy!
