This deck is part of my Arrows From The Bees fellowship, designed to proactively ease the burden of combat and questing. This deck keeps locations from clogging up the staging area, and provides a bit of healing.

Opening hand

Thurindir over in the mono-green deck guarantees that a side quest will be in play from the get-go, so a The Road Goes Ever On keeps providing fun little distractions from the actual objective of the adventure. I meant to say keeps providing fuel for Thurindir and Legacy Blades. Along with TRGEO, The Long Defeat helps everyone find much-needed cards (or serves as emergency healing).

Light of Valinor, of course, lets Glorfindel quest in a non-self-destructive manner.

Getting an early Resourceful on Argalad can help ease the burden of paying for all of the deck's green cards (once you get down to Secret, that is. Between Fastred, Double Back, and The Galadhrim's Greeting, that should be easily do-able, however).

Questing

Glorfindel should go to the quest, but Argalad is better served punching Bad Guys with his ability, and Fastred wants to greedily engage enemies to reduce your threat. The mono-red and mono-green decks are plenty good at weakening enemies during the quest phase, so there is typically a target with 1- remaining for Argalad to finish off before quest resolution (making the quest easier for those who did commit).

Northern Trackers and Rhovanion Outriders, while expensive, are the meat and potatoes of this deck. Getting them and Glorfindel's two horses down early should be a priority, so that clearing locations becomes a walk in the park.

Try to leave blue resources up whenever you can to Test of Will any curve balls the encounter deck may throw at you. The mono-green deck can help out with Halfling Bounders.

Combat

Fastred's time to shine.

Be sure to pester the mono-red deck every turn until Fastred has the Support of a Loyal Defense Bird (Song of Battle required first). With 7- and a Hasty Stroke in your pocket, there is very little that he fears. The red deck has some extra insurance in their Honour Guards.

Fastred keeps you secret. He keeps targets in the staging area for the other decks to wreak doom upon. With Arwen Undómiel granting him sentinel (and I guess +1-), he can even block for other players. When he is unexpectedly Courageous, he can block for everyone! (Unfortunately, he can only bounce enemies back to the staging area to lower your threat once per phase)

If Argalad happens to pick up a spare Legacy Blade and an Unexpected Courage, he can lend a hand during ranged combat.
