You want to defend for friends with boosted sentinel allies and help them to kill ennemies with boosted ranged allies. This deck is made for it ! Well, keep in mind that it won't defend and kill all the table on first turns anyway... It's not OP but he'll do the job well !
So here is a little deck to play in multiplayer games because you need to play with. I use it in solo mode on cycle 3 and it was fun too. Always on the edge of the razor, but most of wins ! Now, let's take a look :
Adapt your deckbuilding : Before begin, make last deckbuiding to adapt to your partners and to your gameplay. There's plenty of allies who cost 2, you can exchange at will with the side : Focus on ranged , sentinel , direct damage with events or mix : Just adapt the deck to your gameplay and buddies and enjoy. The one i create take a bit of everything. I like to have the choice !
Mulligan : You're free to choose. There's not a single way to begin (take resources, draw, lower your threat). Adapt yourself ! This is not a deck to play brainless. This is a deck to challenge your adaptability. The question is : Can i endure the early game with this hand ?
Secrecy :
- Begin in secrecy (ringsdb doesn't count the -3 of Éowyn's ability) and keep low threat with Elrond's Counsel and Well Warned so you can use second Hirgon's ability at will. Keep secrecy is not important. Keep low threat in order to manage engagements. So Well Warned can too be played on other players.
Ressources : You don't need a lot because most of the cards cost only one with Hirgon's ability.
- First way is to play your Resourceful
- Second way is to use Hirgon's ability
- Third way is Soldier of Dol Amroth.
Drawing :
- First way is Foe-hammer
- Second way is Elven-light combined with ether Elven Spear or Watcher of the Bruinen or Trollshaw Scout
- Third way is Legolas
- Fourth way is Ancient Mathom. Can be used for friends too
- Fifh way is Bofur for searching trough the 10 weapons of the deck
How to play :
- Boost Glorfindel with weapons is the first goal, cause he provides drawing. Light of Valinor is not the priority.
- Quest successfully to put allies with Hirgon'ability. Choose wisely the good ally to put in play as you see what is in the staging area after reinforcement.
- Use resources to draw. And i recommand to put your resourceful on Glorfindel for that !
-
Put Raiment of War and Vigilant Guard on Watcher of the Bruinen or Gondorian Spearman. You can exchange Vigilant Guard because it costs a lot. But have Watcher of the Bruinen with 2, 3 and 6 hit points is much fun for me ! it can defend a lot and help to kill after !
- You can really and easily adapt your gameplay to any situation, and that's cool !
- Remember : Use Hirgon's second ability and boost your Watcher of the Bruinen's or your Trollshaw Scout's To use it indefinitely by discarding for one little threat !
- Remember : Rivendell Blade, Raiment of War and Rivendell Bow can go on ranged allies cause they are all Noldor / Silvan / warrior.
The deck has amazing draw ! And you'll need it ! And that's great when you play mostly !
