This is the strongest outlands deck I've ever built. Let's see why it is so strong.

Outlands decks need to swarm Outlands allies as quickly as possible. With Erestor, you have 10 cards in your hand turn 1. After that, you draw 4 cards per turn. It's the best drawing engine of the game in my opinion. But you have to play as much cards as possible each turn, because you have to discard your hand every end of turn.

So, playing with Erestor needs :

  • Low expensive cards so that as much cards as possible may be played the turn they are drawn : All cards in this deck cost 2 or less.

  • A ressource engine so thay you can play all the cards in your hand easily. Steward of Gondor and Legacy of Númenor generate ressources, A Good Harvest helps spending ressources. Don't forget that Miruvor may give you a precious ou ressource to play an Outland ally or a Warden of Healing and can be recursive, which is quite an advantage with Erestor.

Here is how the deck works. Surprinsingly, this strong deck is quite easy to play :

  • Turn 1, you need at least two playable allies and a ressource engine (Legacy of Númenor is the best turn 1, Steward of Gondor is better for the whole game, A Good Harvest mays help. If you have A Very Good Tale you can have up to 5 Outlands allies on the table turn 1! In the worst cases, I have at least two Outlands allies on the table turn 1, more often between 3 and 5.

  • The next turns, things are easy to play : play as much cards as possible from your hand!

Some comments about the "non-obvious" cards :

  • Envoy of Pelargir is a kind of Feint as it blocks an attack.

  • Will of the West is useful on adventure that discards cards from your deck. It can also simply be used when the deck is nearly empty. I only play it when the third one come into my hand.

  • Rumour from the Earth : in my opinion, it is an auto-include in solo play with Erestor.

Sideboard : Power of Orthanc is only used in adventure where there are annoying Condition attachment. Dwarven Tomb make it playable as soon as the first Power of Orthanc comes out the deck!
