"That's a nice shot Mr Haldir. Here, try this Rivendell Blade. Another fine shot sir, how about a Bow of the Galadhrim?" -Merry

The purpose of this deck is to destroy many enemies anywhere on the table including the staging area. It will not be good at questing or defending so it would work best with a deck that can do those things.

The first thing to do is load up Haldir with his toys using Merry and Bard's resources. He can easily be hitting for 7 in the first round. Give him some action advantage with Unexpected Courage and Miruvor (which also provides resource smoothing.)

After that, try to give Merry ranged. This can be done with a Dúnedain Cache or a Rivendell Bow with Elf-friend. Bard pays for the cache since he can pay for all items. Then use Fast Hitches to let Merry ready multiple times which will also ready Haldir multiple times when they attack together.

Master of the Forge is key to getting the attachments you need. Foe-hammer is great for card draw. Other than that I threw in some Silvan allies so I could place the extra weapons on them. And if they leave play, their attachments go back to your hand.

I played this deck against the Road Darkens saga pack and it worked well. Those scenarios contain a lot of tough high engagement enemies that Haldir can pick off.

Seems like a pretty fun deck, but what I really like is the image of Bard and Merry carrying around huge golf bags of weapons for Haldir.

Yeah. Or when Haldir shouts “fore” every time he shots an orc.
