The Line Unbroken - The Druadan Forest

Description

The Line Unbroken is my Progression-style playthrough of the LOTR LCG - two-handed, going through each quest using only cards which were available at the time of the release (though following up-to-date rules/errata), and trying to show off as much of the card pool as possible, including for the vast majority of the quests, using the new hero(es) in the boxes where they were released.

These were the pair of decks for The Druadan Forest.

These decks didn't work for me on easy mode, I guess the increased frequency of the treacheries in the slimmed down 'easy' mode doesn't suit the decks well. I did use the bones of these decks and basically removed all attachments except Asfaloth and Good Meal because attachments soon disappear thanks to the many prowls followed by Leaves on Tree. On a similar vein all the events that require resources after the staging step were removed. But new events like Risk Some Light combined with Expecting Mischief took out Druadan Thief and Druadan Drummer. Gildor's Counsel was also very useful in reducing the carnage this encounter deck brings. I also bought in Legolas instead of Bard, because being Silvan he also benefits from Silvan Tracker.
