Description

The Line Unbroken is my Progression-style playthrough of the LOTR LCG - two-handed, going through each quest using only cards which were available at the time of the release (though following up-to-date rules/errata), and trying to show off as much of the card pool as possible, including for the vast majority of the quests, using the new hero(es) in the boxes where they were released. For the Lord of the Rings Saga quests, I am playing in campaign mode.

I noticed in your wordpress blog that you used boons when playing this quest with your decks. Are these decks still effective when playing in non-campaign mode?? Or does it make things harder?

I've never played these decks outside of campaign mode, but I assume they'd still work.

Decks aside, I'd say the quest can be easier out of campaign mode because it's more palatable to strategically let a tough enemy go to the Black Gate when it won't be coming back 4 quests later.
