Debaticus 8

This is a deck I have been running solo with some pretty good success so far.

It was able to play through the saga campaign with the only changes needing to be made for the Mount Doom quest.

Théoden was swapped for Hirgon and the Giant Bear's, Vassal of the Windlord's and Winged Guardian's were replaced for the Fellowship sphere cards in the sideboard to help give a questing boost since I was on the clock.

The only other scenario I have made any changes for at this point (I'm currently through The Dunland Trap) has been A Journey to Rhosgobel. Support of the Eagles's Loyal Hound's, Flight of the Eagles, Giant Bear's, Gandalf's and 1 Landroval were swapped for the healing cards in the sideboard to help heal Wilyador.

Éowyn is in here to bring some solid questing power along with her resources. Her action is nice to have if you need it but isn't necessary much of the time. Háma's response is most useful for getting multiple uses out of Meneldor's Flight and Gwaihir's Debt and can become a situational attacker or defender as needed with Support of the Eagles on him.

Wow! Nice that you finished the saga campaign. Great deck and congrats! I will give it a try :-)

@Benediktthanks! There's definitely some improvements that can be made, especially with some of the newer cards but I wanted to run it "as is" for as long as possible. So far I've completed all the quests up through The Fate of the Wilderland (except for the Lonely Mountian quest from the Hobbit box because screw Smaug lol). I've found it to be quite versatile and able to handle battle and siege quests just fine which is a big help.

How often and when do you use Meneldor's Flight?

@BenediktI don't like to use it unless I need it. I've found that it can be more useful in the early game when there is stuff in the staging area from setup and your board state isn't built up yet. If you do get it early it can be a great target for Háma's ability. Meneldor is obviously a good use for it for some location control but Descendant of Thorondor is also nice if you've got some annoying enemies in the staging area.
