Garriath 14
This trio has always been fairly effective but the Forth, The Three Hunters! contract has unlocked new avenues of effectiveness for them. The general idea of the deck is that Éowyn quests, Fastred blocks and sends the enemies back to the staging area, where Dúnhere rides them down. A few specifics:
Dúnhere should aim to get two weapons (Spear of the Mark or Dagger of Westernesse) as quickly as possibly, plus Firefoot, which allows you to creatively take out multiple enemies with a single attack if you get mobbed.
Fastred should get Captain of Gondor and three Gondorian Shield cards as quickly as possible to block for 7. If drawn, he should also get the Magic Ring to allow for emergency untapping/healing as needed.
Éowyn quests, quests, quests. Silver Circlet, Golden Shield, and either Windfola or Snowmane should be her attachments. (In combat-intensive scenarios, you may want to add in Herugrim to allow her to attack for around 20!)
Unexpected Courage cards should go on whoever's in highest demand. Fastred and Secret Vigil should keep threat very manageable, especially in the first couple rounds as this deck's still getting set up. Ancient Mathom and Foe-hammer provide ample card draw. Quick Strike functions like Hands Upon the Bow for Dúnhere, while A Test of Will and Hasty Stroke offer protection from treacheries, with Dwarven Tomb there to recur them and Will of the West in case you use up your favorite events.
I should say that this deck's still getting worked out, but I'm very pleased with it. By the time all three characters have untapping effects on them and the contract has flipped, heroes can reliably quest for well over 20.

Feb 14, 2020What helpful feedback! Yes, of course you're right about Gondorian Shield. I quite like the idea of putting Snowmane and the Golden Shield on Fastred instead; that also lets me find space for Herugrim on Eowyn, which should turn her into a beastly monster slayer by late game. |
Great deck! This was one of the first trios I thought of when I first saw the new Three Hunters card.
Unfortunately, Gondorian Shield is "limit 1 per character". But you could put the Golden Shield on him instead of Eowyn; it gives +1 defense (for a single attack) before the contract has flipped and +3-4 defense (for a single attack) after.
Also, if you put Snowmane on Fastred as his third restricted he can quest and then ready afterwards to defend. (The extra willpower will also boost Golden Shield.) Once the newest pack arrives, Golden Belt will also let you get another restricted attachment on your heroes and possibly even a Rohan Warhorse on Dunhere so he can nuke two enemies a round.
