doomguard 1963

doomguard has a newer deck inspired by this one: lonely spirit-tower of defense

without torch. 3 hasty strokes and 3 dwarven tombs to get them back additional the staff of lebetron. first attachement is the shield. then what evr comes next (livery or staff) or both if the lucky belt comes.

with blood of numenor he should stand many ahadows without cancelling. the many taktic-events are gone, but therefor miruvor can be played insphre and more allies that can wield a cloak. with help of the contract it is very likely, that he can defnd at least 3 attacks from the start (either mirovor, courage or ally with cloak will likely be drawn 1. round).

merrits to the taktic-version:

  • courage and miruvor are in-sphere
  • hasty stroke can be played
  • some allies come into play, so it generates some questpower or with luck locationcontrol
  • thread reducing
  • test of will
  • piling ressources is not wasted if blood of numenor is in play

flaws:

  • beregond get less attachements, no torch
  • no juicy taktic-events (feint, strong walls, ....)
  • more risk, that he can die because of a very nasty shadoweffekt (but not very likely)

i think open the armory can be replaced (only 3 weapons/armor left after taking shield), some suggestions?

If you want to get some more ready out of Beregond Desperate Defense would be good.

Also the Spear of the Citadel can't be played on Beregond without a Song of Battle.

desperate defense is good. this version tries to get along without takticresources. coud possible try to make a version with 3 songs of battle and include taktic, but i think this is more efficient and more flexible. if want to include tactik, i would try out thorongil and make the doubleberegond-version. think will make that later
