Concept

I originally built this deck at the suggestion of @Mike Gracey on Discord to specifically take on Land of Sorrow, and it's been able to beat it. I've also taken it up against Escape from Umbar, Roam across Rhovanion, and Treachery of Rhudaur. There's a lot of control in the deck, and considering it'll take you time to build up the requisite power to take out larger enemies, it's kinda required. Also my first time with (MotK) Firyal...wow.

Deckbuilding

Needed low threat and high starting , so Beregond made the most sense, and it turns out that Glorfindel + Asfaloth is still good (who knew?). Other than that, I really just filled out the ally base with the efficient Outlands package, a bit of healing, and the surprise of Eryn Galen Settler, whose ability is rarely triggered but clutch to pop duplicate locations without attachments and also just great value in with a 2-2 attack ratio. Ancient Mathom and Woodmen's Clearing are just goodstuff cards to keep the deck rolling, and the events are rather boring but effective.

Gameplay

The mulligan condition is Light of Valinor so you can confidently quest for 6 without having to raise your threat. You might find yourself topdecking without an Ancient Mathom or Daeron's Runes, but you're always wanting to prioritize and threat reduction to keep up with the staging area. Elfhelm is an unexpected MVP and a card I've come around to rate MUCH higher with age. With Firyal, you almost always discard an enemy. That's pretty much it...it's not super exciting, but it's effective in the sense that you can keep your threat low enough to choose when enemies come down, control locations with Asfaloth, and generally hope for the best against a quest as tough as Land of Sorrow. It's not perfect, but this deck will get you through quite a bit, in my experience.

Don't forget that you need a copy of Firyal in the deck. How necessary is the third Unexpected Courage? I only have 2 and was curious if the third one is necessary or if I could get by without it?

Since you are good location control-wise you could add a Mithril Shirt for Beregond. Or even Inner Strength with the The One Ring again for Beregond.

You could consider adding a copy of Thorongil to add some healing and balance the spheres with Glorfindel

@Blithe SchlemihlI'd go with 2x UE and maybe 1x Miruvor. Being able to have at least 3x readying cards in the deck is pretty key. I'd personally just proxy it

@Alonewolf87yeah, the One Ring module is something I always seem to forget about...could easily go with Inner Strength, here. I think Thorongil would be a huge tempo hit, personally (not to mention the fact that I just don't like the card haha), and green Glorfindel's healing is just way too expensive to even consider for me. It almost negates the sphere smoothing if you ever trigger the action to heal.
