AltarofPan has a newer deck inspired by this one: elizabeth claire ospina (tm)
specifically built for solo Return to Mirkwood scenario. a difficult quest in general, but a particular challenge for solo play.
mulligan for the Steward of Gondor no matter what.
also, this deck can not handle Attercop, Attercop during set-up or round one encounter draw. reshuffle and start over.
Re: side quests. only plan on exploring one side quest per game, and even then only if you can explore it in one turn. all that elvish threat reduction allows for it, but not more.
Fresh Tracks was used each time it showed up.. there are 4 potentially devastating Mirkwood Bats in the encounter deck. one copy is good for this quest.
unless it means a heros death, save a Gandalf for the Hummerhorns.
