A way to use Thalin 1.0

I think you're onto something, but i still think that Thalin still doesn't do enough here, if you want him to actually contribute you probably would either need more direct damage or swap him to a better attacker, because if you're using him as an attacker anyway and not kill enemies with direct damage, a 3 attack hero with blank textboxt has the same efficency as Thalin and higher flexibility, sadly (except when playing anduin/return to mirkwood i suppose but that's 2 quests out of 100). So i would either a) swap him to thorin stonehelm and just have a better deck b) build around thalin more, which i don't think you can do in a council deck without featuring argalad. Without council you can just run playset of hail of stones (natural synergy with thalin and to an extent frodo), run more threat reduction so enemies don't engage you too much and kill your sam, playset of reckless attack, weapons and goblin cleaver to make an unorthodox combat deck. Just spitballing here and i know that decks that feature frodo and council of the wise usually tend to work well anyways, but i think you could push it in one direction (value council deck) or the other (thalin dmg) because you would get more value from Thorin.

I find that Thalin works well with either Eowyn's. But more so the Éowyn as you can pitch cards to boost willpower. Also, I'm sure others do this to, but Thalin's my number 1 choice of a hero in any game that has 1 HP enemies. Hope this is helpful!
