This is the deck I've been running as part of a two-player saga campaign. So far, it's served well. There's a lot of very standard Elrond/Vilya allies - Arwen Undómiel for defendiness (Definitely a real word), Northern Tracker for being awesome, Ethir Swordsman for giving your questing a massive boost, Miner of the Iron Hills for dealing with the ridiculous number of condition attachments that come biting and clawing out of the saga encounter decks, Treebeard for being ridiculously strong... The list goes on and the Unexpected Courage/Vilya combo makes it all cheap.

For Gandalf, you've got Shadowfax for readying, range and sentinel, Gandalf's Staff for shadows or resources, Wizard Pipe for shenanigans and one of my all-time favourite thematic cards, Flame of Anor. As far as I'm concerned, running Big G without Flame is the act of a knave, a rogue and a scoundrel.

The more expensive allies, should you not feel the need to Vilya them into play, also serve as great targets for Flame of Anor/Wizard Pipe shenanigans. The Resurrection Eagle, Landroval is a great target if you're getting by without dying, as is Beorn although triggering his beast-mode ability to murder a Nazgul after Vilyaing him into play always feels decent.

Glorfindel gets Light of Valinor, Asfaloth, Silver Lamp and Expert Treasure-hunter. I wanted a few attachments that made him a bit more useful that just being the low-threat hero to compensate for the majestically terrifying 14 and 13 from the other two monsters. Fair and Perilous helps make some decent use of his stats and, equally importantly in this game, has some tremendous artwork involving The Mighty of the Firstborn himself.

Daeron's Runes, Expert Treasure-hunter and Vilyaing like a madman give you all the card draw you could ever want.

For an opening hand, I'm partial to either Vilya or Gandalf's Staff to get some extra resources flowing. Obviously, an early Light of Valinor gets #Glorfindel in business. Essentially, as long as one of your heroes finds something useful, you should be good to go.

I don't run Steward of Gondor because it's horrifying to realise how reliant I'd become on it in other decks. As long as you can get #Vilya up and running, you're never going to need it anyway. Plus I'm already hogging three of the best heroes. Taking the best attachment would be a bit much.

Let me know if there's any clutch allies that you think are missing. I've got a few options on the sideboard depending on the demands of the quest.

Anyone know how to link previously completed quest logs to this deck?

Maybe Faramir? Or other ents for Treebeard to help pay for?

Faramir would be a good shout except that one of the decks this one has been paired with uses Lore Faramir. It's also running Quickbeam. Plus I've always found that the best ent for Treebeard to pay for is giving himself more actions.

@velcrohead85 Yeah, I agree.

@velcrohead85, I don't think you can link the previously logged logs to this deck, but there are other options:

1: Put links to the logs on this deck's description,

2: Re-Log.
