I think this is the most dependable Pelargir deck I've played. Great to have three dynamite battle questers out the gate, to get rid of the Leaping Fish on turn one and tune down the encounter deck. The inclusion of Hail of Stones is a brilliant move for getting rid of the Umbar Assassin while he is still in the staging area. If not, you can bring him down sometime prior to reaching 40 threat (unless you are on quest card 3), and just give three damage points to Beorn. I like that there are multiple options for dealing with whatever the encounter deals with you, so that luck doesn't play such a big role: No Light of Valinor? No problem! There are Vassals of the Windlord and Trollshaw scouts for cheap to pick up the slack on battle questing! Worried about Beorn getting soaked for too much damage? No problem! Defender of the Rammas has a 4 defense! (And can be amplified by Arwen to withstand any attack!) Worried about being overwhelmed with enemies? No problem! Each of the heros has some sort of action advantage: Beorn and Boromir natively, and Glorfindel with Light of Valinor! I haven't had to use Unexpected Courage once! The main problem seems to be threating out, but Elrond's Counsel is available. Once you get to the third Quest card, if you can get Gandalf out, you will clear it in just a couple of turns. Still -- I have usually been in the high 40's by the time I make it to the Quays and safety.
