I have tested this deck in solo and two player. It starts strong in questing because of Treebeard's ability and once you get Elf-friend, some healing attachments, and Protector of Lorien on him he is available as a potent defender or attacker after questing. The high level of healing and action advantage in this deck allow Treebeard to become amazing.
Bilbo's ability to draw two cards allows you to put Miruvor on top of your deck after use and then still get a new card. Master of the Forge helps you find attachments. Elf-stone gets allies out and with Treebeard's ability is almost guaranteed to succeed right when you want it to.
Merry reduces threat and allows for valuable side board cards to be switched in depending on the quest.
