Just a crazy idea. The only card which is not a song or an instrument is obviously Fatty Lumpkin. Just once, because he is an unique person ;) Forth the 3 hunters gives the option for an extra restricted card, which I think is ideal for our Minstrels. So they can all have a copy of:
- Bronze Bell
- Golden Horn
- Wooden Lyre
Elena makes sure that you can get 1 instrument from your deck and makes instruments cheaper, which makes it a cheap deck, where you don't need much pool. Which is nice with lay of Nimrodel. With a song attached Goldberry makes that you don't have to exhaust to quest. With a deck with just 10 non-song cards in this deck I think that will be easy. Tom is there either to heal damage or give damage to minions when you play a song card. With so many song cards there's enough damage. For the minions you can't get away immidiatly you use Elena to defend. Or Song of Slumber keeps your heroes from defending. I am still concidering to replace Song of Slaying for Song of Mocking. There isn't a lot of strength on the heroes and a plus 2 isn't much, while song of mocking helps your defending hero to survive.
So imo other cards then songs (and instruments) only stalls your deck development. And a disturbance in the Force can be usefull, but this is LOTR and not Star Wars.
