DECK NAME - Morgul Do In

OVERVIEW - To "do in" means "to bring about the defeat or destruction of." Thought this was a clever way of tipping my hat to the river Morgulduin that flows from the Morgul Vale to the Anduin. This deck is designed to "do in" this difficult quest by keeping low until we ping away at the boss enemies with 3x Ranger Bow.

HEROES

STRATEGY

  • OPENING HAND - PRIORITY: look for Hobbit Pipe and/or Bilbo Baggins; nice consolation prize would be Risk Some Light
  • STAGE 1 - we'll stay here until we have our entire board state set up; keep low and at least under 12 before moving on to stage 2; we never want to engage an enemy
  • STAGE 2 - should be around 0; just take out Lord Alcaron w Ranger Bow
  • STAGE 3 - same method as stage 2

  • Orc Vanguard - deck seeks to avoid using Risk Some Light and Ithilien Lookout; only way to deal with it is Ranger Bow but an early reveal of this enemy is what we fear the most
  • Warrior of Nurn - Pippin helps raise his encounter value to 20 so we have the slightest bit of breathing room early
