Carder89 116
This deck is a supporting deck. It fights (both defensively and offensively) pretty well. At the beginning of the game it can take undefended attacks on Glóin to gain some extra resources. With these resources, you can build up to play expensive cards and turn Bilbo Baggins into a great defender. You can keep both Glóin and Bilbo healthy with Glorfindel. The latter also keeps other players' heroes fresh during a campaign.
Bilbo Baggins can be built into a good defender with Fast Hitch, A Burning Brand, Dúnedain Signal, and Dúnedain Warning. Dark Knowledge is used to know which attacks Glóin can take undefended. Self Preservation can heal Glóin in addition to Glorfindel.
The resources gained from Glóin usually go to Glorfindel with Parting Gifts, though the Dwarf can also get Song of Wisdom to start p[aying for cards. Glorfindel gets Steward of Gondor and Song of Kings so he can heal every turn and pay for everything else. Parting Gifts can also be used to give other players' heroes resources.
Lore of Imladris is only for Journey to Rhosgobel.
The Forest Snare are handy against big enemies in Journey Along the Anduin, Conflict at the Carrock and Return to Mirkwood. CatC is also a good scenario to side in Citadel Plate and Song of Battle so that Bilbo Baggins can take multiple Trolls. Dúnedain Mark also comes in against this quest to boost attacking heroes, like Legolas.
