This deck quests hard and can do it precise as well with both willpower and location control. The deck also has a lot of readying to allow this deck to assist in willpower tests that feature in the Dead Marshes or exhausting to find clues in The Hunt for Gollum. It can also transform into an Ally Swarm combat style deck against the Conflict at the Carrock, where questing is not as necessary and it is even prudent to build up before facing the trolls.

With Sneak Attack, Stand and Fight, Escort from Edoras, chumping Snowbourn Scout, Westfold Horse-breaker, The Riddermark's Finest, Ride to Ruin and Éomund, characters will constantly leave play which will ready Prince Imrahil and allow you to play Valiant Sacrifice to get some more out of discarded allies. Stand and Fight can get allies back from the discard pile allowing you to repeat this process. Dúnedain Cache can make Imrahil into an archer so he can support other decks when he is ready, as this deck will not usually have many enemies engaged with it.

The deck can push through with questing, using Escort from Edoras, Faramir, Éowyn, and Astonishing Speed. There is location control in the shape of Northern Tracker, Ride to Ruin, and Snowbourn Scout. Celebrían's Stone is useful for The Hills of Emyn Muil and the Dead Marshes.

The Dúnedain Mark, Dúnedain Warning, and Unexpected Courage will be played on the fighter decks that will accompany this deck.

The first Song of Travel should go on Théodred so he can instantly pay for A Test of Will and building up to the expensive cards.

The Galadhrim's Greeting usually comes in against Return to Mirkwood, because I usually finish with high threat due to Gollum.
