Behind the martial prowess of the Twins lies the ancient power of their father. Elrond bears Vilya, the Ring of Air, using it to summon aid from across Middle-earth without cost. Beside him stands the mighty Glorfindel, unveiled in his wrath, and the Ring-bearer Frodo Baggins, whose resilience protects the party from the corruption of the Shadow.

This / deck is the "Anvil." It controls the encounter deck, manages threat, and keeps the Combat deck alive.

The Vilya Engine: This deck cheats the resource curve. Exhaust Imladris Stargazer to rearrange the top 5 cards of your deck, putting an expensive ally (like Northern Tracker or Gildor Inglorion) on top. Then, exhaust Elrond and Vilya to play that card for free.

The Safety Net: Glorfindel is your main quester. You must find Light of Valinor early so he can quest for 3 without exhausting. Meanwhile, attach Fast Hitch to Frodo Baggins. This allows Frodo to exhaust to quest for 2 , and immediately ready up! He will then be standing during the combat phase to soak up any lethal attacks that slip past the other deck, safely converting that damage into threat instead.

The Healer's Hand: Elrond's passive ability buffs all healing by 1. This makes the Warden of Healing insanely efficient. Because the Warden's ability targets two different characters, Elrond's buff applies to both! You can exhaust a Warden to heal 2 damage from Elrohir and 2 damage from Elladan for absolutely free every single round.

Arwen's Blessing: This is a vital cross-table synergy. Every round, commit Arwen Undómiel to the quest. Her ability grants +1 and Sentinel. You should almost always give this buff to Elrohir in the Combat Deck, allowing him to defend for both players with 4+ Defense!

Mulligan Priority:

You need Light of Valinor for Glorfindel and Vilya for Elrond. If you have those, you have the engine.
