Troglo 330
Imagine if the four president faces sculpted on the Mount Rushmore stood in Middle-Earth... Well, Gandalf, Saruman, Ragadast, Treebeard could be the new guys ;-) Galadriel, Frodo and Aragorn are not too far from it.
The Aragorn's package (doom events + his action) allows for a quick setup, Frodo Baggins is an amazing versatile hero who mitigates the threat even more, ready Aragorn up, brings the Drinking Song optimal mulligan. Galdor of the Havens maximizes the odds to have goods cards in the opening hand without the opportunity cost to have built a deck with many unique copies.
Word of Command and Flame of Anor are obvious choices with the three Istari in the deck.
Attach Steward of Gondor and Sword that was Broken to Aragorn ; Wizard Pipe to Gandalf and Radagast.
Use Wizard Pipe to : 1) increase the draw quality of the cards you get in hand, 2) maximize the damage you could do with Flame of Anor in putting a duplicate 4 or 5-cost ally at the top of your deck. A Gandalf copy with Saruman boosted and readied up by Flame of Anor is crushing : after questing potentially at 5 and putting an encounter card out of play, taking up to 3 archery damage, Saruman would attack at 10. Not bad for a "one-shot" character.
Favor of the Valar works as an emergency button.
When the team is set up, overall stats are just insane.
What about The White for Saruman? Or are you avoiding ALeP cards?
