This deck is built around the theme "no defender needed". The moderate low starting threat, Sneak Attack + Gandalf threat reducing effect, Halbarad, Anborn, Mablung and Take No Notice that benefit from Ranger / Hobbit synergy, the Feint-alike of Gaffer Gamgee, and of course the traps brought cheaply by Damrod, all avoid to be engaged or attacked, and boost the Faramir attack efficiency.

Sam Gamgee quests and attacks most of time. His Hobbit Trait allows us to do three "in-game mulligans + 1 draw" thanks to Drinking Song, that especially avoid to put too many copies of important uniques in the deck. Moreover with two Ranger heroes and one Hobbit, Take No Notice can be played for free.

Attach The One Ring, Power of Command, Steward of Gondor and Magic Ring to Sam Gamgee ; Ranger Spear to Faramir.

Magic Ring is a key card in that deck : 1) It's the way to play Steward of Gondor first round, 2) it increases the Sam Gamgee ability, 3) it's a second source of healing apart from Ioreth, 4) it flexibilizes the resources in that bi-sphere deck.

Since there are only unique allies, The One Ring + Power of Command is an obvious option.

The good willpower calls for Elf-stone to easy the enter up of Anborn and Halbarad, or even Saruman and Galadriel.

Captain's Wisdom boosts the resources through Faramir.

The little combo Halbarad + Gaffer Gamgee is a great one.

Steward of Gondor, Captain's Wisdom, or Sneak Attack + Gandalf are nice to see early, because we would like to trigger as soon as possible its threat drop. Apart from that, Ranger Spikes will be the best indirect weapon for Faramir and a way to turtle easier during the setup.
