This deck is designed for the Dream‑Chaser Campaign, starting with Voyage Across the Belegaer, and follows a strict mono‑Lore + Neutral construction for multiplayer campaign play (4 players).
The core idea is stability, consistency, and sailing control. Lore excels in this campaign when it focuses on encounter deck knowledge, location management, and long‑term survivability rather than burst damage.
HERO ROLES • Aragorn (Lore) is the main defender. With A Burning Brand applied early, he becomes immune to shadow effects and can safely take Corsair attacks. • Galdor of the Havens provides exceptional early‑game consistency. His mulligan ability is used at setup to find key cards such as Lindon Navigator, Asfaloth, A Burning Brand, or Explorer’s Almanac. His once‑per‑game refill ability can be used at a critical moment later. • Bilbo Baggins keeps starting threat low (29) and provides steady card draw against higher‑engagement Corsair enemies, making the early campaign safer.
SAILING TESTS Sailing tests are the defining mechanic of Voyage Across the Belegaer. This deck is heavily teched for that: • Lindon Navigator is a core card, allowing Sailing test commitment without losing willpower for questing. • Explorer’s Almanac and Henamarth Riversong provide crucial information before Sailing tests resolve. • Risk Some Light and encounter scrying reduce the chance of going Off Course.
LOCATION CONTROL & BOARD PRESENCE • Asfaloth and Mirkwood Explorer handle location buildup efficiently. • Elf‑stone allows powerful allies like Gildor Inglorion to enter play early. • The ally count is intentionally high to support campaign longevity.
CAMPAIGN SURVIVABILITY • Warden of Healing, Imladris Caregiver, Healing Herbs, and Self Preservation ensure sustained healing across multiple scenarios. • This deck is not designed to carry combat alone; it assumes that the Tactics deck handles primary enemy removal.
MULLIGAN PRIORITY Look for at least one of the following: • Lindon Navigator • A Burning Brand • Asfaloth • Master of the Forge • Daeron’s Runes
This deck aims to keep the fellowship On Course, informed, and stable, allowing the group to progress smoothly through the Dream‑Chaser campaign without repeating the high‑variance issues seen in earlier Saga scenarios.
