You're looking for Strider, Steed of the North, or Open the Armory to get your engine going as fast as possible.
Elrohir
Try to get Ancestral Armor, Armored Destrier, and Relic of Nargothrond equipped so that you can have 7 and multiple blocks ready.
Elladan
With Rivendell Blade, and War Axe you can swing for 6 (+ more with Steed of the North, etc.) and reduce the defender's by 2.
After removing an enemy, play Foe-hammer for card-draw, or Swift and Strong to attack again.
If you couldn't remove the enemy, use Straight Shot to destroy them if the Rivendell Blade reduced their to 0.
